Slackware ARM 13.1 is a new port - it is *not* compatible with any previous releases of Slackware ARM. In order to upgrade from any previous release, you must do a complete installation from scratch. Typically you would: - backup your configuration files and data to some other media or location - start the Slackware ARM installer - erase the filesystems ("formatting" with ext4, for example) - install the OS as usual - add back any custom configuration files and data The next release of Slackware ARM will offer the usual upgrade path as described for Slackware x86. -- 18 May 2010 Stuart Winter
