giplet: Giplet will display the ip  address on  the  GNOME panel. Either the ip
giplet: address of a  specified  network interface will  be show, or Giplet can
giplet: be set to query  a website  that displays the ip address connected from
giplet: so the ip address to  the outside world can be displayed. Also, a timer
giplet: can be set to reacquire the ip address every so many minutes so renewed
giplet: DHCP assignments will be caught eventually.
