# HOW TO EDIT THIS FILE:
# The "handy ruler" below makes it easier to edit a package description. Line
# up the first '|' above the ':' following the base package name, and the '|' on
# the right side marks the last column you can put a character in. You must make
# exactly 11 lines for the formatting to be correct. It's also customary to
# leave one space after the ':'.

apcupsd: Apcupsd (daemon for controlling APC UPSes)
apcupsd:
apcupsd: Apcupsd can be used for power mangement and controlling most of APC's
apcupsd: UPS models on Unix and Windows machines. Apcupsd works with most of
apcupsd: APC's Smart-UPS models as well as most simple signalling models such
apcupsd: a Back-UPS, and BackUPS-Office. During a power failure, apcupsd will
apcupsd: inform the users about the power failure and that a shutdown may
apcupsd: occur. If power is not restored, a system shutdown will follow when
apcupsd: the battery is exhausted, a timeout (seconds) expires, or runtime
apcupsd: expires based on internal APC calculations determined by power
apcupsd: consumption rates. Apcupsd is licensed under the GPL version 2.
