ndiswrapper: Many vendors do not release specifications of the hardware or
ndiswrapper: provide a Linux driver for their wireless network cards. This
ndiswrapper: project implements a Windows kernel API and NDIS (Network Driver
ndiswrapper: Interface Specification) API within the Linux kernel. A Windows
ndiswrapper: driver for the wireless network card is then linked to this
ndiswrapper: implementation so that the driver runs natively, as though it
ndiswrapper: is in Windows, without binary emulation.
ndiswrapper: With ndiswrapper, most miniPCI (builtin), PCI, PCMCIA (Cardbus
ndiswrapper: only) or USB wireless network cards work in Linux.
