TODO list for greypool - handle the case where a project has more than one maintainer... or no maintainer. this does't happen with SlackBuilds.org. - handle ^C gracefully during wget downloads. - improve the interactive config: - cache the repo list? - possibly use dialog? - there's a bug I haven't looked for yet that causes the list to be incomplete occasionally. Pretty sure this happens if an ignored package comes at the end of a JSON file. The packages listed in each file are in random order so it's hard to trigger on purpose. I may have already fixed this by changing how the ignore list is implemented... - de-uglify and refactor the code. it's a mess. - HTML: allow setting font and font size in config file - allow user-specified stylesheet for HTML. I am not a web designer, nor do I want to be. - handle (unlikely) possibility of commas in CSV fields. is there a single universally-supported correct way to do this? - transforms in config file. regex to change my version number into what repology tracks. Maybe: - allow multiple repos in config file. check them all by default, add a -r option to check just one. - curses/dialog report browser. separate executable I think. would read the CSV output. have a way to browse/search the result list, and open the package link (for me, slackbuilds.org) or repology versions page in a browser. may not ever do this: looking at the HTML output in elinks provides this functionality already. - allow using curl instead of wget?
